The goal of this module is to teach participants about the capabilities of Java on the IBM Mainframe.

There are currently numerous migration and modernization scenarios in Mainframe environments, and in this context, many reasons why modernization makes sense in (almost) all cases.
With this module, we aim to demonstrate that the primary focus should be on migrating to a platform-independent environment. However, this does not necessarily mean that you have to abandon the Mainframe as a result.
