zz/OS Management Facility (z/OSMF) is IBM’s strategic management framework for z/OS, providing a modern, task-oriented web browser interface and a comprehensive REST API. This course provides practicaltical skills for system programmers who want to leverage z/OSMF to improve their day-to-day operations, automate repetitive tasks, and integrate z/OS management into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

This course includes dedicated modules on automation using z/OSMF REST APIs, enabling participants to write scripts that can be immediately integrated into their operational toolchains and to build automation that is repeatable and auditable.Prerequisites
Attendees must be able to use TSO/ISPF, write JCL and run batch jobs, and have fundamental practical system skills. Familiarity with USS is beneficial. Knowledge of Python is helpful for the automation modules but is not required.
